Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which also keep information on your device. This policy covers all of them.

VoxHive is designed to support applicable data protection and privacy requirements, including the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. Technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for may operate without consent. Everything else is optional and stays switched off until you turn it on.

2. Categories we use

We use two categories on this website: strictly necessary and analytics. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, tracking pixels, cross-site profiling, or session-replay tools, so there is no marketing category to consent to.

Strictly necessary

Required for core website functionality, security and your consent preferences. These operate without consent because the site cannot deliver what you asked for without them.

The Supabase, demo, workspace, onboarding and sidebar items above only appear in the signed-in customer dashboard or once you actively start the live demo. They are not set simply by browsing the public website.

Analytics (optional, off until you accept)

Helps us understand how visitors use VoxHive so we can improve the website and product experience. We use Google Analytics 4. Until you grant analytics consent, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all, no Google Analytics cookies are created, and no analytics events are sent. We use Google Consent Mode, with analytics_storage and the advertising signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization all defaulted to denied. We never grant the advertising signals, because we do not run advertising technology.

_ga_<container id>CookieGoogle (Google Analytics 4)Maintains analytics session state for our measurement IDSee Google's cookie documentation; set by Google, not by us

These durations are controlled by Google rather than configured by us, so we point you to Google's own tag documentation rather than state a figure we cannot verify from our implementation.

The analytics events we collect are website usage events such as page views, scroll depth, which calls to action were seen, pricing and FAQ interactions, demo starts and form completions. They are not used to build advertising profiles.

3. Live voice demo

The live demo uses the Vapi web voice SDK. The SDK and its storage are only initialised when you actively press the button to start a demo call, so nothing is loaded from Vapi just because you visited the page. Starting the demo also requires your microphone permission, which your browser asks for separately. Analytics events about the demo still respect your analytics choice.

4. Video and embeds

The promotional video on our home page is served from our own infrastructure as a plain video file. We do not embed YouTube, Vimeo or other third-party players on this website, so no third-party media identifiers are set. Where we link out to a third-party site, that site's own cookie policy applies once you follow the link.

5. Managing your consent

When you first visit, we ask you to choose. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or manage the categories individually. Continuing to browse or scrolling is never treated as consent.

You can change your decision at any time:

  • Use the link, which is also in the footer of every page.
  • Turning analytics off stops further analytics events immediately, and Google Analytics is not loaded again on later visits.
  • You can also block or delete cookies and clear storage through your browser settings. Clearing strictly necessary items will sign you out of the dashboard.

We store your choice in your browser, along with a consent version and the date you chose. If our categories or this policy materially change, we increase the consent version and ask you again. We do not record your cookie choice against your identity in our database.
